This is the look he gives you just before he takes a bite out of your chin--his version of kissing. It also gives you a glimpse of the top three teeth he's gotten in the last couple of weeks.
Teddy's officially crawling and has been for probably a month. But it's the oddest crawl--the left foot stays on the floor with his knee pointing up the ceiling. It's part slink, part scoot. Still, though, it gets him where he wants to go.
He seems to be close to walking too. All he really wants to do is take hold of two of your fingers and go screaming down the hall. Unlike Lil, who was really physically cautious as a baby, Teddy will happily careen down steps or crawl over large obstacles.
He's really into his blue blanket. Pansy took him on one of Lil's playdates and didn't take his blanket with them because she didn't think they'd stay that long. But when he needed to go down for his nap, she tried giving him another blanket--he took one look at it and started crying.
Teddy really wants to do everything himself--eating, brushing his hair. He even took the nail clippers out of my hands and tried to cut his own nails. And although I haven't seen it, Pansy swears that he likes to taunt Lil by kicking her. I think he's not really sure what to make of her since once minute she's violently ripping whatever he's holding out of his hands and the next minute kissing him and hugging him. It should get interested when he does start walking and has a little more physical force to bring to the equation!

And here's a link to Lil at 11 months.
