Halloween

For Halloween this year, Lil went as a Teletubbie. Tinky Winky, to be exact, the Teletubbie that had Jerry Fallwell up in arms because he carries a purse, thus leading Jerry to believe he was gay. Which of course would be tragic, to have the young children of America relating to a gay character. But I digress.

Here she is at the Halloween party at her school.

These are her little friends Siona, on the left (dressed as a Chinese cowgirl butterfly) and Adele on the right (dressed as a blue and yellow raccoon).

And here we are on Halloween night, heading out to trick or treat. Teddy was dressed as a tiger (thanks Mary Beth for the hand-me-down costume) and I was dressed as DJ Lance Rock, the host of Lil's other favorite kiddie show, Yo Gabba Gabba.

The boombox prop really came in handy when Teddy got tired and fussy. He loved pushing all the buttons and it bought us at least 30 extra minutes before we had to go home.

And here's Lil enjoying some of her candy, which she kept in her pink Tinky Winky purse (which was once Gommy's and hence, vintage and tres chic)
