Does he look like someone important or what?
This photo is several weeks late, but here it is nonetheless. This is Teddy at 3 months and about 1 week. At this point in time he weighed 14 pounds 6 ounces and was 25-1/4 inches long. Since he was 7 lb. 13 oz. when he was born he has come close to doubling his weight in only three months. Way to go Teddy!
He loves to stand when you hold him up. And he smiles and laughs all the time. He's definitely a lover, not a fighter. He spends most of his awake time gnawing on his fingers. He can kinda sorta grab a toy and bring it to his mouth, most of the time. He has settled in to a fairly regular bedtime of between 6 and 7, and he also is up for the day between 6 and 7. He generally wakes up around 10:30, 2:30 and 4:30 to eat. I am real ready for him to drop that 2:30 feeding. I know you can do it, bud.
He is rapidly outgrowing his Moses basket and his bouncy seat, which is really too bad because he loves that thing. At mealtimes we've been putting him in Lil's old high chair and he stays pretty much upright in there, although he can't sit on his own yet. All in all he's pretty easy to have around. Once he starts giving us a regular and long afternoon nap and drops at least one nighttime feeding we're going to be cooking with gas. It's already a far cry from when he would only sleep when someone was holding him.
Here's Lil at three months, just for shits and giggles.
