Tree gazing

Even though we live in New York City, we are lucky to live in a building that has an actual, old-fashioned front yard complete with two gigantic old trees. Scott and Lil like to lie on the grass and wave at the squirrels and count the leaves (Lil is obsessed with leaves). Our neighbor took this shot.

In other news, we're off to Florida for a long weekend to visit Gommy, Kate's grandmother. Please pray that Lil's recent tantrums don't make an appearance, on the plane or anywhere else.

And in other, other news, I took Teddy to the doctor yesterday and he gained 2 pounds and grew 1 inch last month--he's up to 12.6 pounds and 24 inches long. He's actually napping now and I am not holding him (this only happens in the mornings so far but hey, it's a start).
