Birthday celebrations

Lil turned two last Friday. We spread the celebrations out over two days, starting with pancake breakfast for Lil, her little BFF Lola, Pansy, and Lola's sitter. Here she is loving every minute of having people sing to her.

Then on Saturday we went to the American Museum of Natural History, where the big blue whale was a big hit.

We met up with our friends Mary Beth and Giulio whose son, Adriano, was born the morning after Lil. Here we are in the lobby of the museum waiting to rondez-vous.


And chillaxing in the hall of North American mammals...


It was a great, fun-filled weekend, complete with a visit from Kate's Dad, aka Poppy..


and a trip to the "beach" (the riverfront park in Dumbo), where it was pretty cold.


Thanks everyone for sending such wonderful gifts, and if you didn't send anything, no worries! You can tell by the glazed look in her eye while playing with Poppy that she had plenty of stimulation.
