Hi everyone,
At the risk of sounding mercenary, here's what's on Lil and Teddy's wish list this year.
Dresses dresses dresses! Lillian loves dresses but she's picky as all get out. Long sleeve that goes all the way to wrist, no elastic around the wrists, cotton knit that's basically like T-shirt material--anything bumpy and she'll never wear it. She's a size 6.
She also likes to wear long-sleeve t-shirts and skirts. Her favorite colors are blue, pink, and purple. Craig and Linda got her some dresses at Baby Gap last year that she was worn religiously ever since.
She won't wear leggings or pants at this point in time. She has lots of tutus. She loves tights.
Teddy needs slippers and boots (he's a size 8.5/9) and gloves with a low profile (he won't wear the nice thick warm ones, the knucklehead).
The kids both need rain coats -- Teddy's a size 3 and Lil's a size 6. Otherwise, Teddy's pretty good in the clothes department.
We don't have an Elf on the Shelf, apparently it's a pretty awesome parenting tool. (It's an elf that you put out in your living room and he reports back to Santa if there are any shenanigans.)
We always need washable paints, the groovier colors especially.
Toy-wise, the kids are crazy for puzzles, blocks, and trains (Teddy's getting a pretty extensive train set from Santa). They also love music and we don't have many CDs for them -- Laurie Berkner, Yo Gabba Gabba, Dan Zanes are all music they've heard snippets of and loved. Toy food would be great too -- they are in to cooking and making play lunch in their toy kitchen.
And that is all! Thanks everyone and hope you're having a good holiday season.
Lots of love from Rhody,
Us
