Just realizing that Christmas is two weeks from today. Crikey. Here are some thoughts on what the kids might like/need for Christmas. Honestly, they don't lack for much. One little present for each is more than generous.
They can both use clothes, honestly. They've each entered a new category of development and body type -- Lil is now a little kid (not a toddler) and Teddy is now a toddler (not a baby).
Lil wears a 4 or a 5 or an XS. Teddy is 2T.
Lil can especially use:
Mittens
Snow pants
Long sleeve shirts, with and without pictures on them
Long sleeve dresses. All colors welcome but she does love blue the most.
Funky tights. She has loads of wacky solid colors, but her striped/polka dotted tights have almost all worn through. She wears tights 24 hours a day, I'm not exaggerating.
Non-footed pajamas
Some kind of portfolio to store her paintings and drawings in.
This thing they use at her school that she loves, called a Time Timer (it teaches them how long certain amounts of time are) http://www.timetimer.com/products/products.php
She likes puzzles, or other toys that need to be figured out and put together some how
Barrettes
Teddy can especially use:
Short sleeve and long-sleeve shirts
Non-footed pajamas
Pants
Art work for his walls
Kid-size non-plastic forks and knives (he's a real whiz at feeding himself)
Good kiddie music CDs, he's crazy for music. Dan Zanes is supposed to be good.
We could also use more kid-friendly plates.
And Teddy loves seahorses (he can pick them out in any book right away), while Lillian loves the color blue.
Thanks Santa!!
