Teddy at 8 months

Here he is, completely filling out his 12-month-sized onesie with all his 19 pounds, 8 ounces (per our visit to the pediatrician yesterday).

He's not crawling, but he does have quite a reach on him. He'll lean and lean and lean for something until he winds up almost on all fours (his rump doesn't get up in the air just yet). He can totally get out of his Bumbo chair, which looks like this is and is supposed to keep them pretty much immobilized. He also loves to pull himself up to stand--hold out two fingers for him to grab on to and he's up in two seconds flat.

Just yesterday he started playing peek-a-boo with us. Which is ookie, because I just read Lil's 8 month update to see what was up to and she started doing the same exact thing at pretty much the same exact time. (She was already crawling, however, although who's keeping track?) And he's still crazily good-natured: I got him up from his nap today and sat on the couch giggling to himself for half an hour.

My only complaint is that his initial forays into sleeping through the night have disappeared. Last night he was up twice. UGH Mommy is TIRED. I guess he has to have some flaw. Sigh...
