Life with Teddy

Wondering what we've been up to? This pretty much sums it up. Teddy has proven to be a 60-minute man--that's about how long you need to hold him after he's fallen asleep, or else he'll just wake right back up and take about another 60 minutes to soothe back to sleep. He's nice and cuddly, though, and doesn't mind the sound of typing or phone calls or Lil singing "Itsy Bitsy Spider." I know it won't last long and someday we'll be pining for the days when he would actually snuggle with us for extended periods of time.

In other news, he's wearing a giant sock that I knitted for him (and that Cora repaired after my first version started unraveling--thanks Coco!). The pattern calls it a "cuddle sack" -- it's like a Snuggie for babies. For any interested knitters, you can find the pattern here.

He sure is a cute little guy! Will he be ready for camping in Nova Scotia this summer, d'ya think?

Would love to hear Lil singing Itsy Bitsy Spider. As someone I know and love dearly said recently: "The days are long, but the years are short."
