This past month, she has started saying "apple"--or really, "ah-poo"--which as far as we can tell means any kind of food. She pretty much wants a pretzel stick in at least one hand at all times. She points to what she wants now, and will grab your hands to show you what she wants you to do. And what she most likely wants to do at the moment is grab your hands you can walk with her around the apartment. We just did several laps. Every once in a while, she'll let go of one of my hands and take a step or two just barely hanging on to my other hand. Its amazing how much the contours of her face change even month to month. She is SUCH her own little person these days.
Pretzel eating is obviously a genetic thing. In this case, it can be traced directly to the maternal grandfather!
