Lil at 6 months

Here are two six-month photos for you because I couldn't decide which one to post. This past month Lil graduated to size 3 diapers (we go to the pediatrician next week, but I'm guessing she weighs about 17 pounds). We put away the swing and got out the Exersaucer. She settled in to taking a morning nap and an afternoon nap pretty regularly, although the time varies. She's still all over the place on when she goes down for the night--if we are out of town or anyone is over, she pretty much refuses to go to bed until we do. She loves drinking water from a glass, and she's crazy about chewing on spoons, keys, credit cards, the phone...pretty much anything she can get her hands on. Which is more and more as she starts to scoot her way around. It's not crawling, but one way or another she winds up in a different location than where you set her down. Her favorite toy is a tie between a vintage silk scarf, a fabric book about dinosaurs, and a plastic spoon. It's really hard to tell what color her eyes are going to end up being. They are pretty much gray but in some lights they look dark blue. She's still sleeping in the co-sleeper, but she's almost outgrown it. Some mornings her legs are hanging over the side. We got the crib out of the basement and then realized we had lost the hardware. Now we have a replacement set of hardware, but have to get the couch out of the second bedroom before we have room to set up the crib. Sigh... Sooner or later she'll be turning in every night at 8 o'clock and sleeping til morning in her own room, right? Please God?
